2cv6 Spécial
In September ’89 M.Volozan from Granges les Valence in the Ardêche region, went to Citroën agent Ortega to see if he could trade in his ’78 Ami 8 on a 2cv.
They made a deal, and the car would be delivered through the main dealer of Valence, garage Minodier. The 2cv6 Spécial was ordered in Bleu Celeste, a lovely nostalgic color. Also some more luxury was ordered, it got separate front seats, a “fifth door” and a trafficlutch (which we have never seen before on such a modern 2cv). It was ready for delivery in December.
It was mainly used for local traffic, so the kilometers weren’t added in large numbers. Some garage bills are still with the car, so you can see the kilometrage develop to its current 19.000km.
During its use it got some marks , so a wing was at one time repainted. The roof was replaced as well (the old one still with it), further it was just regularly serviced to keep it reliable. This is your car if you’re looking for something almost fit for a museum, but also ready for use.
