In 2003, we got this 2cv from France: only 29.000km from new. Since then, it has had two owners who mainly used it during the summer. At 44.000km, an Echange Standard (factory rebuild)-engine was put in, after a drive without enough oil…

Now, we were able to buy it back. Unfortunately, the interior and paint weren’t what they used to be. However, the chassis and all other metal was still in a perfect state, so the choice was easy: we’d just make it new again! We dismantled it, had the outside neatly resprayed, renewed the interior and put on some finishing touches. The result: a gorgeous fresh-colored red 2cv that is a real joy to drive.
