101.000 km

With its first owner Marcel, this 2CV has taken on about 10.000 km on the roads surrounding Valreas.

It must have been a great pleasure, because this area – the Vaucluse – belongs to one of the most beautiful in France. Full of lavender fields, vineyards, and dusty roads.

We found some 5kg in evidence of those dusty roads: the 2CV was covered in a thick layer of sandy dust – the same dust, I think, that creates that fantastically beautiful light in the Provence.

This car was built on June 27th, 1987, and delivered on September 25th – just after the summer holiday, falling right into the new model year, judging from the small stamp under the bonnet: AM88.

The sun has had its effect on the yellow paint, because it was repainted once. With a bit of a French touch, so don’t expect perfection. Judging from the type signs that were attached too high, the painter also didn’t feel like stooping… When you visualize this scene, any annoyance quickly disappears.

The dust on the floor also contained some damp, which in turn caused some rusty spots to appear – we made sure to replace these parts in order to make this mobile piece of sunshine ready for use again.

We deliver it ready for the road.
