Ami 6s are becoming more and more scarce, especially the original Dutch ones.

Still, we have found another. Since the late 80s it was owned by a Citroën-fan, who used it for many of his travels as a student.

During study fieldwork in Spain, the car could come too: comfortably spacious and fitted to almost every terrain. During that trip, the distance between a bridge rail and an evasive tractor turned out to be a bit smaller than this Ami’s width…

Fortunately, new and good body panels  was readily available at the time, and so the Ami was able to recover. A bit more luxury was added to the Ami 6 Confort; trim and double headlights that came from the more chique Club-model. Now, that would be “history falsification”, but it happened a long time ago – and so it became part of this car’s history itself.

A very comfortable drive, spacious, and with a panoramic view through its large areas of glass. With its 35HP engine, it is also pretty fast.
