The 2cv6 Perrier was a special model, only sold in Belgium in ’88. Only 1000 were made and not many original ones are left.

They have specific door panels, decals, hub caps. The mineral water companies’ mascotte, a monkey, is in the wind on the bonnet. But the nicest accessory is of course the small fridge, standing between the driver and passenger. It’s ready to hold 6 small bottles.

Knol’s garage from Ermelo (Holland) got hold of a new one and sold it to one of the inhabitants of their village. This guy kept it until now and fully documented their live together. From the bill of sale, pictures of the delivery, meetings and changing of the chassis, maintenance invoices, magazine articles: it’s all there. We’ve never had a car so well documented.

Of course the car shows some marks of the adventures it has been in, but is has been preserved well. It has been serviced regularly, stored dry inside and treated with care. The small bottles that come with the car have already met their expiring date in ’97, but the car certainly hasn’t.
