About a decade ago, we freed many 2CVs from French barns: often with very little kilometers from new, in perfect state, and from their first owner. This 2CV is one of those. We found it in Gien, a village near Orleans. Just 18.000km from new back then. Some of these 2CVs have gone out of sight or their state has deteriorated over time, but a considerable amount of them still drives around in our circle of costumers.

Like this one. Here in the Netherlands, it wasn’t used much, but loved and harboured nonetheless. Now, it has 23.000km and it’s still in a very good state. The fresh color Jaune Rialto is something different than the usual red, white, or blue, and most of its lacquer is original. No rust, but a few signs of usage. In France, unlike any other country in Europe, you could order a 2cv6 Spécial with a more luxurious Club-interior. In ’84, that was a beige-striped fabric that fitted well with the color of the lacquer.

It’s up to you to (cautiously) add some kilometers, because we’re looking for a new owner. It’s been dusted off: we’ll also take care of maintenance and MOT.
