2cv AZ
2cv’s from the late sixties and early seventies are rich of charming details, but not often seen anymore. So we’re happy to have one in our showroom.
It’s an AZ with the 425cc, 18hp engine. It was delivered new in Holland and produced in the Belgian factory at Forest. These Belgian 2cv’s are somewhat different from the French ones. It is hidden in small details in the interior, but also in more eye-catching ones as the rectangular blinkers on the front. Also the roof locks more decent, with special closures.
In the eighties is has been restored. Not exactly to the strict original specs, but we think you were a hero to restore a car like this in that period, against just throwing it away as was usually done. We like the “period correct” cloth on the seats and several other home craft-solutions.
A very nice 2cv if you’re looking for something different. Please keep in mind that the upgrade to 2cv6, which appeared two years later, was done with a purpose…
